Business Challenge

Lewis-Clark college is the regional college of Idaho state. It offers education in the field of art and different sciences. Technical programs of college supports state and domestic economics and other educational programs developed for complying Idaho citizens demands. LCSC also trains personnel. Graduates are provided for work and students can practice in order to improve their professional skills.

Necessity of web-site creation was not accidental. Because of permanent increase of the number of students the electronic representative office became vital. This portal was demanded by students not only to view information but also track their education activities (marks) and use remote education capabilities.

Summary

This project resulted in development of a new program in which college officials and students were able to use new technologies in an educational process. This web-site also allowed future students to receive complete information about this educational institution.

Used languages & Technologies

The client-server technology was used for developing the system. The development was based on PHP programming language together with MySQL database. All the information was represented using HTML. All the above-mentioned technologies represent the minimum required set of tools for development of a working site with administration capability.
