Business Challenges
The control and registration system is a computer-aided controlling-diagnostic complex designed for industrial enterprises, telecommunication agencies, power engineering plants, transport departments for engineering processes and calculation automation by information acquisition on mechanisms state and serviceability, technological protection and automatic regulation facilities, process registration bound to astronomical time, information accumulation and wire transmission to the upper PC level. This system is a modular one and can be expanded.
System Functionality
The system provides:
- amount of controlled channels with discrete levels - from 64 up to 320 items;
- the number of controlled channels with the 0-20, 4-20 mA current signal levels - up to 32 pieces;
- amount of controlled channels with the 0-5 mA current signal levels - up to 16 pieces;
- amount of recorders attached to PC - up to 16 pieces;
- analog sensors inquiry period - no more than 2 s;
- time registration discreteness of discrete sensors operation - not more than 0,015 s;
- current signals measurement inaccuracy - not more than 0,4 %;
- fixation of a year, month, day, hour, minute, split second accurate within 0,004 s, sensor number and its state;
- information storage about 4000 discrete sensor operations and 2500 analog signal parameters crossings through the range barrier.
Real time clock and random-access memory have power backup.
Recorder supply voltage - from 176 up to 242 V direct or alternating current or from 20 up to 32 V direct current.
Recorder power consuming, not more than 20 VA.
Recorder block mass no more than 4 kg, power supply unit mass not more than 1 kg.
Overall recorder block dimensions - 140/210/190 mm, power supply unit - 150/100/210 mm.
Device continuous operation time - 24 hours per day.
Recorder MTBF not more than 30000 hours.
Dust and moisture protection is IP65 class.
Summary
IBM-PC/AT type computer; computer-process interface including: recorder block (see picture), power supply unit; network interface block; software; technical description and operating instruction.
The provided software allows data reading from recorders, reviewing all accumulated data, printing out, analog signal levels data display on the screen as tables, histograms, timing chart, setting clocks in recorders, reception of a current state of discrete and analog sensors, fault tracing and localization in a controlled system using optimized graphs, conducting recorders self-control, auto calibration of measurement channels, each recorder communication line control.
The system is tested and installed at some hydro-power and thermal power stations. The system price is much lower than its foreign and domestic analogs.
